T-helper 1 cell differentiation
The process in which a relatively unspecialized T cell acquires the specialized features of a T-helper 1 (Th1) cell. A Th1 cell is a CD4-positive, alpha-beta T cell that has the phenotype T-bet-positive and produces interferon-gamma. [ GOC:ebc http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/CL_0000545 ]
