In TA they are grouped in both the pons and medulla; DHBA has 'vestibular nuclei of pons', with LVN and SVN underneath; WP+MA says the SVN is in the pons, and GO includes VNC development under pons development, but this is not supported by ABA. Todo - check with NIF.
